What is PCB?

Printed Circuit Board

A printed circuit board (PCB) is a flat board that mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive copper traces, pads, and layers etched onto an insulating substrate.

Almost every electronic product is built on one or more PCBs. Boards range from simple single-layer designs to 24+ layer high-speed and RF boards, and the layout directly determines a product's performance, manufacturability, and cost.
