A PCB (printed circuit board) is a flat board that mechanically supports and electrically connects components via copper traces on an insulating substrate.
Almost every electronic product is built on one or more PCBs. Boards range from simple single-layer designs to 24-layer high-speed and RF boards, and the layout directly determines a product's performance, manufacturability, and cost.
