Privacy policy
This policy explains what Rapid Circuitry, a brand of Caropet Technologies Private Limited (“Rapid Circuitry,” “we,” “us”), collects through www.rapidcircuitry.com, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and how to exercise your rights, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Last updated: September 27, 2026.
Information we collect
Project-enquiry form (on the Contact page and the homepage): your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are enquiring about, and the project details you type in the message field.
Guide downloads: when you request a guide PDF, your email address, your name if you enter it, and which guide you requested.
Job applications (on the Careers page): your first and last name, email address, phone number, the role you applied for, and the résumé file you upload (PDF, DOC or DOCX).
Newsletter sign-up: the newsletter form on our blog collects only your email address.
Campaign and referral data: when you first arrive on the site, your browser records the page you landed on, the referring website, the time, and any campaign parameters in the link (UTM tags and Google or Facebook click IDs). This is kept in your browser's session storage and is sent to us only if you submit the enquiry form or request a guide, so we know which channel brought the enquiry.
Automatically collected data: like most websites, our server and analytics tools record technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page. Our server also uses your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions. See Analytics and tracking below for the tools that collect this.
We do not ask for payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through this website. Please don't include them in a form. If a project engagement later requires exchanging such information, that happens through a separate, agreed channel.
How we use information
We use the information you submit to:
- Reply to project enquiries, schedule discovery calls, and send you an automatic confirmation that we received your enquiry
- Prioritise enquiries internally: each enquiry gets an automatic priority score from the service, the message, whether a phone number was given, and the source, which our team uses to order replies (it does not decide whether we reply)
- Send the guide you requested, followed by up to three follow-up emails over the next two weeks (a related case study, an offer of a call and a final check-in); every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the rest
- Assess job applications for the role applied for
- Send the newsletter to subscribers who signed up, and let them unsubscribe at any time
- Prepare NDAs and proposals for prospective engagements, and keep records of client relationships and communications in our CRM
- Measure which pages and channels bring enquiries, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use form data for purposes unrelated to those listed above.
Analytics and tracking technologies
On www.rapidcircuitry.com (not on preview or test copies of the site), we load:
- Microsoft Clarity — session-recording and heatmap analytics that show how visitors navigate and use the site. Clarity loads a few seconds after the page opens.
- Google Tag Manager — loads and manages our analytics tags. It loads on your first interaction with the page (scroll, click, tap or key press) or after about five seconds. When you submit the enquiry form or request a guide, the site sends a conversion event (the form type and, for guides, which guide) through Tag Manager so it can be measured in Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
- HubSpot tracking — records page-view history and the original source of a visit, so our team can follow up on enquiries with context. It loads on your first interaction with the page or when the browser is idle.
Each of these tools sets its own cookies or uses similar browser storage on rapidcircuitry.com. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may degrade some site features but will not prevent you from browsing or contacting us.
Confidentiality of client project information
Technical details, schematics, firmware, and other materials shared with us in connection with a prospective or active engagement are treated as confidential. A mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is available on request and is signed before any technical discussion; you may send your own NDA or use ours. Project information shared under NDA is used solely to scope, deliver, and support the engagement it relates to, and is not shared outside the engineers and staff working on it without your consent.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, and then delete it:
- Enquiry-form submissions and guide requests are kept in our database and CRM for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry and, where a business relationship results, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
- Job applications and résumés are kept for as long as needed to assess the application and for record-keeping, and are deleted if you ask us to.
- Newsletter subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Analytics data (Google Tag Manager and the tags it loads, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot) is kept according to each provider's own retention settings and policies, which we configure but do not independently extend.
- NDA and client project files are kept per the terms of the applicable NDA or engagement agreement, and are deleted or returned as those terms require once the engagement ends.
Service providers that process data for us
We share information only with service providers that run the site and our business on our behalf, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- HubSpot — CRM (enquiries, guide requests and newsletter subscribers), newsletter email and website analytics
- Google — Tag Manager, and Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement through it
- Microsoft — Clarity analytics
- Supabase — file storage for résumés uploaded with job applications
- Our website hosting and database provider — hosts the site and the database that stores form submissions
- Our email-delivery (SMTP) provider — sends enquiry notifications to our team, the confirmation email you receive, and the guide follow-up emails
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms; we do not control their internal practices beyond the configuration we set. Some of these providers may process data outside India. We do not sell personal information, and we do not put client project files into any of these analytics or marketing tools.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you, how we use it, and which service providers we have shared it with
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate or outdated information
- Delete your information from our enquiry, applicant and newsletter records
- Withdraw your consent to further emails; you can also use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or follow-up email
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity
To exercise any of these, email contact@rapidcircuitry.com from the address in question. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. Deleting information tied to an active client engagement may also require closing out obligations under the applicable agreement or NDA first.
