What is Sensor Fusion?

Sensor fusion combines data from multiple sensors — such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers — into a single, more accurate estimate than any one sensor could provide alone.

Algorithms like Kalman and complementary filters merge noisy, complementary sensor streams to produce reliable motion, orientation, or position — the backbone of wearables, drones, and robotics.
